Lean Channel Management was founded in 2010 by Amazon.com alumni. We help companies achieve their sales potential through optimized product listings, performance analysis, and shipment process improvement. Our services go beyond simple “representation and sales” to provide a range of support and training for a whole solution that is cost effective and gets results. We use LEAN thinking, tools, and leadership practices throughout our work to drive out waste that costs you and your customers money.
David L. McLean – Senior Partner
David has over thirty years in senior leadership roles within sales management, marketing, manufacturing and technology. He is an alumni of Microsoft and most recently Amazon.com.
David functioned as the LEAN Supply Chain improvement “subject matter expert” for Amazon Retail teams, served as Operations Manager for Amazon Warehouse Deals, and coordinating the Project Office across Amazon Transportation, Supply Chain, and Retail teams as part of Amazon’s overall Vendor supply chain improvement effort. David has worked within Fluke Networks, Meridian Sports Holdings, Johnson Worldwide, and Head Sports in business unit management, product management, sales management, and engineering management roles.
David holds an MBA in technology management.
Scott Panno – Partner
Scott has over 14 years of e-commerce marketing experience. He spent six years at Amazon.com as a Senior Site Merchandiser in the Home & Garden group. Scott’s specialties include product launches, search engine optimization, email marketing, and site metrics analysis. Over the years he has helped dozens of companies, large and small, to optimize their on-site marketing.
Scott holds a BA in communications.
Kathy McLean – COO/Partner
Kathy has over twenty five years experience in senior leadership, formal project management, operational oversight, and financial management for corporations and non-profits. She has significant experience with search optimization within the Amazon A9 search engine. Kathy manages operations, finance, and item setup workflows for LEAN Channel Management.
Kathy holds a BA in Design.
Pete Lawton – Senior Account Manager
Pete has over twelve years of sales management and marketing experience in both brick & mortar and e-commerce retail. He is an alumni of Amazon.com, as well as T-Mobile and Sears. Pete spent five years at Amazon.com, first as an Inventory Planner and lastly as a Vendor Manager with the Video Games group. Specializes in product & brand launches, operation compliance, sales negotiations, metric analytics, and account management.
Pete holds a BA in Business Management.
Agen G.N. Schmitz – Senior Manager
Agen has over 14 years of e-commerce content and marketing experience. After three years as Senior Editor with the Amazon.com Electronics Store, he started a freelance business to provide rich product content, blog posts, and targeted buying guides to support a wide range of Amazon groups — Computers, Cell Phones, Sports & Outdoor, Tools & Home Improvement, Home & Kitchen, and Jewelry.
Agen holds a BA in American Studies.
Balajiee Meenakshi Sundaram – Senior Business Manager
Bala has seven years of overall management experience in the fields of retail, e-commerce and publishing. He is an Alumni of Amazon.com and Elsevier. He spent over five years at Amazon.com as a Senior Catalog Specialist, leading a team that managed key retail processes around content and data management for a wide range of Amazon groups, including Sports, Toys, Kitchen, Home and Garden. In addition, Bala is experienced in data analysis, quality auditing, project management, and the support and growth of high performance teams.
Bala holds an MBA in Business Management.
